Overview

Our SaaS platform is used by millions of people every month and our Platform Services team is looking for an Associate Software Development Engineer in Test that will be responsible for developing testing strategies, making sure they function as designed, and are delivered on time. This team builds business critical platforms and services that allow ReCharge to run applications reliably at scale, providing ReCharge Engineering with forward-looking tech stack components that take advantage of the cloud (tech stack 2.0).

What You'll Bring

  • Typically, 2+ years of relevant development experience in fast paced environments
  • Demonstrate a good level of expertise in triaging, manual testing, and test automation
  • A reasonable level of expertise in primary language and test framework of your team
  • Demonstrate a t-shaped skill set of varying degree in other disciplines
  • Navigate technical requirements (including ambiguous) to make prudent and flexible technical decisions
  • Often navigate tedious tasks and gets them done even when it's not glamorous without over-complication
  • Impact of contributions are felt throughout a feature
  • Quality of work delivered impacts other team members across the company positively
  • Demonstrate some self-sufficiency to take on and complete projects in a timely manner
  • Included in team's on-call rotation and able to contribute to incident handling
  • Typically, 2+ years of relevant development experience in fast paced environments
  • Some testing in cloud computing experience
