The Xbox Game Studios Publishing team is looking for a Community Manager to help us announce, launch and sustain a community for a brand-new game. Key responsibilities include:

  • Create high-quality content for the game’s official channels highlighting news and updates—including blogs, newsletters, and images
  • Responsively engage with community on all owned social channels
  • Develop a deep knowledge of the game to create compelling content and speak to the community with an authentic brand voice
  • Monitor trends in sentiment specific to game’s community, escalate where appropriate, and produce regular reports to highlight community concerns and risks
  • Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in Community Management, content creation for a brand, or a related field
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with visual content-generation software, such as Photoshop
  • Expertise with major social media platforms, especially the nuances of publishing content to each
  • An eye for quality and attention to detail to deliver high quality content on a tight deadline
  • Passion for and understanding of gaming and gaming culture
  • The ideal candidate will also possess:

  • Proficiency with video production tools such as After Effects or Premiere
  • Proficiency with CRM tools such as Sprinklr and WordPress
