Customer Education Specialist

We’re growing fast, in both headcount and revenue, and we’re looking for a Customer Education Specialist

As part of our Customer Education team you’ll take on a cross-functional role, collaborating with Support, Account Management/Success, Marketing and Design teams on projects to educate the Workable the community.

As a Customer Education Specialist, your responsibilities include:

  • Developing education content for our Help Center centered around best practices for using Workable software
  • Conducting internal and customer-facing training via webinar/VILT sessions
  • Creating and maintaining online course content
  • Performing research and building proactive outreach programs
  • Becoming a product expert in all things Workable

Reporting within the Customer Support department, you’ll complete projects to support the Workable community - internal and external - making a direct impact on customer experience. Work with internal teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of the product and use that knowledge to empower the Support team with educational collateral. Bringing ideas and enthusiasm you’ll drive engagement with educational content to deflect support requests, encourage feature adoption and reduce churn, conceptualizing and creating Support documentation, webinars, PDFs, and more. We make customers stick around long-term by tirelessly supporting them through all stages of their time with Workable.

Your day-to-day will focus on writing, updating support content, producing user guides and videos, and organizing webinars. You’ll work on projects to improve account health, developing skills in support operations and project management.


You must be:

  • Tech-savvy, meaning that you are comfortable using modern office productivity tools Zendesk/JIRA, you are an efficient user of spreadsheet software and you can understand/learn our product well enough to be able to explain it to others.
  • Self-motivated, having a drive to carve out a career with a fast-growing tech company.
  • An excellent communicator, able to break down complex topics or processes so they’re easily understood, while utilizing the best medium for the job.

Fluent in English (Spanish, French, German, or Portuguese a plus!)

You should have:

  • 1 to 3 years of professional (or internship) experience
  • A positive attitude and desire to help customers
  • Experience with public speaking or presenting
  • Excellent writing skills

Bonus points if you have experience creating video content or webinars.
