Position Description:

The Director of Shared Services will act as a key supporting member of the Enablement team for all things related to the core.  Core is defined as Communications, Technology Stack, Methodology and Process related training. 

This is a newly created, strategic role that will support Sales Enablement, Technical Enablement, Partner Enablement and Customer First Enablement.  You will partner closely with Marketing. Sales Operations, Corporate Communications and IT to help shape the strategy.

Streamlining our shared processes is a critical part of our growth strategy.  It will allow us to operate more efficiently helping to drive increased field effectiveness.

Responsibilities: 

  • Own and optimize the field content management tool (Highspot/GTM Navigator)
  • Define the LMS strategy for enablement team; identifying when to use the corporate LMS (Cornerstone OnDemand) and the sales enablement LMS (ShowPad)
  • Manage the technology stack budget.  Lead vendor evaluations to help to select the best enablement tools that will help support field productivity.  Review utilization and adoption of tech stack.
  • Act as subject matter expert in sales process and methodology; responsible for field training in these areas.
  • Partner with Sales Operations, legal, deal desk and act as communications and “training arm” for these areas.
  • Lead communications strategy to minimize field noise; focusing on what matters
  • Identify, manage and report metrics on enablement programs.  
  • Create a process to manage training project intake and leverage RACI/DACI model/principles.

Requirements: 

  • 7-10 years in management experience at a Director level or higher
  • A manager of managers is a plus
  • 5+ years sales enablement or sales operations experience within a global business environment within a global business environment is required
  • Excellent analytical, reporting, data manipulation, dashboard creation, and Business Intelligence skills with an expertise in Salesforce and Excel
  • Strong knowledge of Learning Management Systems
  • Content Management systems knowledge a plus
