ModSquad, the global leader in on-demand digital engagement services, is seeking a Director, People Operations to work in our Sacramento operation center.
This new role will provide human resources leadership and office management for our Sacramento operation, work to galvanize and service our network of 10,000+ Mods, and support our VP, People Operations in executing the human resources strategy of the worldwide organization.
The company has operation centers in Austin, Northern California (Sacramento), and Northern Ireland with business operations in Costa Rica, San Francisco, New York, and London.
What you will do:Be an onsite HR leader for employees in our Sacramento operation center and implement HR operation policiesWork with other Sacramento-based managers to determine the general needs of employeesCollaborate with ModSquad’s information security team, including managing the office security system, monitoring employee and visitor access and business continuity and disaster recovery planning. Plan and manage in-office eventsSupport sales with on-site client and potential client visitsProcure office supplies, equipment and office maintenanceManage issues with vendors and landlordDevelop and implement training programs for managers and employees to encourage development and take full advantage of resourcesWork with our leadership team to fulfill company vision, culture, and values for the companyBe a thought leader for the future of work
Who you are:A minimum of 10 years of leadership experience in human resources, crowdsourcing, and the gig economyBachelor’s degree; MBA or Masters degree a plusPHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferredExcellent communications skills (written and oral), with worldwide language proficiency a plusExperience identifying employee knowledge gaps and creating and delivering training to meet those needs Experience managing the recruiting, onboarding and training processes at a high-growth companyAbility to cultivate a highly distributed and diverse workforceExperience with social networking in a professional capacityAble to quickly learn and master third-party software solutions for company and People Ops functionsSense of humor and a love for being a part of innovation and building networks
