About You

You are a wiz at compensation and benefits - You have 10+ years of progressive experience in compensation and benefits in high growth environments and across a number of companies. 

You’ve created cutting-edge compensation and benefits programs - You don’t rely on what you have done in the past but use your experience to build strategies and programs that fit the needs of a growing company.

You’re passionate about creating a great place to work - You have a passion for creating innovative compensation philosophies and benefit programs that help us attract, engage and retain the best talent.

You’re not afraid to roll up your sleeves and get work done quickly. You’ve rolled out new programs from scratch andenjoy being in the trenches with the team.  You thrive in a fast-paced environment where the decision-making process is quick and expedient.

You are a skilled manager, mentor and coach. You realize the best way to grow a team is by helping them to grow themselves. You're able to effectively share your experience and provide a clear framework for growth.

You’re an analytical thinker. You’ll analyze data from a variety of sources to formulate recommendations to leadership and drive decisions backed by data.

You’re an excellent written communicator. We’re a 100% remote team, and writing is our primary means of communication at Zapier.  

 

Things You’ll Do

  • Develop a Comp and Benefits Philosophy for our next stage of growth that will help us attract and retain  the best talent.
  • Develop and implement new company compensation and benefits programs. 
  • Ensure the achievement of equitable and competitive employee compensation through well researched and defined policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of federal and state legislation influencing compensation and benefits. 
  • Work with brokers, vendors, and subject matter experts when needed for best practices and legal regulations.
  • Evaluate and update Zapier’s benefits programs including: insurance programs, retirement plans, sick leave, time off and vacation policies. 
  • Build a team to support our growing needs.
  • Travel of 5% - 10% for company retreats which rotate to various cities throughout North America.
  • As a part of our All Hands Support initiative, help customers have the best possible experience with Zapier.

Our distributed environment lets us work with the best people. You don't have to be located in the USA either. Some team members live in the United Kingdom, Thailand, India, Nigeria, Taiwan, Guatemala, New Zealand, Australia, and more! You just need the skills and drive to succeed in this role and the ability to work from anywhere.
