About our Internship:

This exciting intern experience is a 12-month placement starting 6th July. During this time, the intern will become an integral part of the Sales Development Team. Significant time will be spent working within the Salesforce.com application and with Sales employees to learn how to strategically develop and qualify revenue opportunities. The intern will be responsible for researching prospective clients, contacts, and using the provided resources and technology to assist the Sales Development Team.

Our Intern assessment day will be held on the 19th of March in our London Farringdon Office.

As an Okta Sales Development Intern you will:

  • Data entry and updating SFDC
  • Review quantity and quality of leads/contacts and provide feedback to team leader/manager
  • Use social/professional networks in addition to other tools for true sales prospecting
  • Account profiling when required with SDRs and Account Executives
  • Attend and support at events with other Marketing and Sales team members
  • Qualify and book calls/meetings with Account Executives
  • Follow up on marketing campaigns by phone and emails
  • Opportunity to develop sales phone skills by following up with and qualifying inbound leads
  • Other projects as needed

You could be a great fit for this role if you have:

  • Ability to manage multiple projects, simultaneously
  • Analytically minded and detail oriented
  • Looking to move into a sales roles in the future
  • Ability to cold call, follow up on leads and contacts
  • Determined, team player with a can-do attitude
  • Salesforce.com knowledge/experience is a plus
  • Must be available 19th of March to attend the Intern Assessment day
  • Must be available to start 6th July
