The IT Manager is accountable for the overall management of company IT enterprise systems, application software, installation of network hardware and software, and database management. The “Hands-on” IT Manager, reporting to Director of Security & Compliance, provides leadership to the effort required to protect the company's data, tools and information systems. They will deliver IT services in line with business requirements to internal customers, standardize platforms, and ensure Hardware/Software/Solution meets baseline compliance and implementation standards. This position focuses on maintaining internal IT service deliveries for employees.
You will:Support growth of a 60 person distributed organization with offices and remote employees across the US and in Europe to double in size over the next year through implementing best practices and change management policies in areas of employee on-boarding/off-boarding, asset management, and securityManage on-boarding and off-boarding processes of employees, including computer/hardware procurement, setup, and account provisioning on Apple Devices and Mac OS systems. Implement solutions to automate onboarding and off-boarding processesBuild and maintain vendor relationships, including tracking vendors, contract terms, and policiesEnsure all purchase licensing, legal terms, and compliance documents are recorded and maintained for software/hardware purchases and and inventory is tracked for complianceDevelop and oversee IT budgetsStreamline services and operations by assessing, understanding, and harmonizing technology resources and needs among all departmentsIdentify areas for improvement and needs for upgrades or new systems and report to upper managementProvide support to employees for computer, cloud applications, systems, device, access and hardware issuesTriage and resolve/escalate incoming employee tickets within ticketing tools and maintain SLAAssist with the installation and configuration of operating systems, routers, switches, firewalls, device, access, and hardwareImplement and manage logins and passwords for various security systems - SSO, 2FA, Email Security, EndPoint Security, Device Management, DLP, FirewallPrepare accurate and timely reports to the manager on weekly and monthly basisProvide training to users as neededPerform any and all other projects and duties as assigned
You have:Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology Management, Information science or related field5-8 years of total IT experience in IT Service Delivery is needed4-5 years of Experience with management of IT Assets, Services and Cloud applications, procurement, and employee on-boarding/off-boarding workflowsStrong Knowledge of any Helpdesk Ticketing/call monitoring system along with monitoring and reporting aspectsFamiliarity with Mac OS based environments, Apple Business Solutions, and Apple Device ManagementDemonstrated budget development and oversight skillsExperience working in distributed team and supporting remote employeesExperience working in a small company going through hyper growth from 50 employees to 200 employeesExperience in managing escalations and L1/L2 issuesGood internal customer and stakeholder management skills - ability to identify customers requirements and respond with empathyStrong problem solving, documentation, communication and coordination skillsAbility and willingness to learn new technologies
