As the first member of the IT team, you will be responsible for a wide-range of systems & tools, ranging from onboarding to license management to negotiation supporting teammates around the world. The ideal candidate will be based in the San Francisco, Bay Area, managing the wifi and zoom rooms at our SF HQ (We are currently remote but do have executives that go into the office at times). You are comfortable dealing with lots of moving pieces and possess a keen eye for detail. You will partner with other technology leaders to grow IT systems and drive building out our enterprise stack processes. Most importantly, you should be enthusiastic about working with a variety of backgrounds, roles, and needs. This role will be reporting to the VP of Finance & Operations and have the ability to own the IT organization at Loom to help us scale.
Responsibilities:Manage daily operations of the IT departmentAct as a critical front-line resource and provide direct IT support to all Loom employeesExecute seamless onboarding for new hires to Loom’s existing IT systems and hardwareManage IT vendors for outsourced helpdesk serviceReview and approve major contracts for computing and information technology services and equipmentNetwork Management (VPN, internet, office connectivity)Helpdesk and End User Services including managing devices, endpoint security, helpdesk support, antivirus, asset management, IT procurementApplications Management including integrations, business processes, application data and security, license, vendor and budget management
What We're Looking For: 5+ years of experience in Information TechnologyHands on experience with managing G Suite, Slack, Dropbox, Notion, Okta, JIRA and other enterprise applicationsExpert knowledge of hardware technology, concepts, and connectivityStrong knowledge of networking principles and how to apply them in a business settingExperience managing enterprise-level platforms, taking ownership of all aspects both great and smallComfortable juggling multiple projects with a stellar track record of managing priorities, deadlines, and deliverables
