Lead Business Development Representative

Remote - US Sales & Marketing

The Lead BDR will be a critical component to an innovative fast-paced Sales Team. You will manage of team of high-performing Business Development Representatives to drive outbound prospecting (email, phone calls, & social media) into potential customers and grow the Rollbar footprint within existing enterprise accounts. The BDR team will support a team of Senior Account Executives in building pipelines and leading a territory and as the team's leader, you will coordinate our outbound efforts to optimize results.

You will:

  • Report directly to VP WW Sales to develop strategic Team, Territory and account strategies
  • Coach a growing team of BDRs to help them achieve individual and team goals
  • Establish key metrics and lead generation strategies to schedule targeted number of appointments for sales team
  • Optimize call scripts, email pitches, and other outreach to improve leads generated
  • Articulate the Rollbar technical and business value proposition to customers
  • Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest to stimulate opportunity
  • Conduct high level conversations with senior level executives
  • Manage leads and territory in Salesforce.com
  • Consistently over-achieve quotas
  • Collaborate with Account Executives to develop a cohesive account strategy and execution plan
  • You have:

  • 3 years sales development experience at a SaaS B2B company
  • Fearless attitude - proven track record at achieving measurable goals (Quota and activity metrics)
  • Ability to work in a time-sensitive and high volume environment
  • Experience using Salesforce.com preferred
  • Team player - working with your Account Executive to develop a territory plan
  • Having implemented MEDDPIC and command of the message to BDR is a plus
