By advising stakeholders on a wide variety of strategical legal topics, you ensure long term compliance and sound legal decision making. You lead 5CA’s legal team and optimize internal service offering to stakeholders. 

The job
5CA is growing at an astounding rate, increasing the complexity of our legal risk potential and expanding the number of jurisdictions we must comply with. Our global workforce is expanding and evolving, and the size of our commercial deals is growing. Your challenge is to provide us with legal advice concerning our expansion from various legal angles. You manage global labor issues and advise on ways to mitigate these risks. You partner with key stakeholders to negotiate and close our most important commercial agreements.  

Next to that you are also tasked with taking the legal department to the next level. By providing a clear long-term vision and empowerment leadership you are to improve the way the legal department partners with stakeholders, creating a team of business-savvy legal advisors to ensure 5CA’s long term success. You are responsible for leading a team of three legal & compliance professionals, which you will continue to expand.


  • Proactively advise high level stakeholders on strategical legal topics with regards to 5CA’s global expansion
  • Manage labor law issues, collaborating closely with HR
  • Draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts with existing and new clients
  • Ensure optimal collaboration between the legal department and internal stakeholders; grow the legal department into a reliable team of proactive business partners
  • Increase legal & risk awareness, translate to practical business guidelines and facilitate optimal decision making with regards to legal risk.
  • Approximately 10 years of legal experience with employment and commercial law, of which at least 4 years in-house with a Service Provider (BPO is a plus)
  • Experience in US/UK Law and legal contract negotiations
  • Experienced in building and growing the internal legal service offering
  • You have at least 2 years of leadership experience in an international environment
  • You are an excellent communicator; you can can explain complex legal topics to anyone
  • You are business savvy and you can form strong internal and external business relationships
  • You speak native level English.
