Sales Development Representative - Acceleration (Commercial, North America)

This position is remote, based in North America. 

As a member of the Sales Development Representative (SDR), Acceleration Team, you will work closely with the Field & Digital Marketing teams to accelerate prospect time-to-value. You'll be well-versed with the DevOps conversations, GitLab value drivers, and account-based marketing (ABM) strategies. In this role, you'll think creatively, and will be responsible for executing while also planning and maintaining a roadmap for future campaigns.

Don’t have a ton of knowledge about GitLab yet? Don’t worry. We have an extensive onboarding and training program at GitLab and you will be provided with necessary DevOps and GitLab knowledge to fulfill your role.

What you'll do in this role: 

  • Work with the GitLab field, digital, and product marketing teams to create targeted regional campaigns
  • Create outbound campaign content based on the Command of Message (CoM) Framework and GitLab Value Drivers
  • Identify where a prospect is in the sales and marketing funnel and nurture appropriately
  • Build Account & Prospect Target Lists based on our ideal customer profile attributes
  • Execute targeted campaigns in specified regions
  • Schedule qualified meetings for Regional Sales and Sales Development Team

You should apply if you have: 

  • 2+ years of sales, outbound SDR, or related experience
  • Proven outbound SDR or marketing experience
  • Proficiency with the CoM framework, GitLab value drivers, and SDR tools
  • An understanding of Account-based (ABM), Digital, and Field Marketing concepts
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills
  • Passion and excitement for working cross-functionally across sales and different marketing departments
  • Positive and energetic phone skills, excellent listening skills, and strong writing skills
  • The ability to be a self-starter, with a track record of successful, credible achievements
  • Knowledge of business process, roles, and organizational structure
  • Determination, with a desire to grow and win
  • Proficiency in using Salesforce, LinkedIn, and
  • Previous tech industry experience or experience in sales development, marketing and/or sales is a plus
  • Excellent written and spoken English, which is our company language
  • A shared interest in our values, and working in accordance with those values
