The Salesforce Developer will be a part of the Revenue Operations team, reporting to the Head of Revenue Operations. In this role you will work on custom APEX and Visualforce solutions within Rollbar’s Salesforce.com
instance and the broader ecosystem associated with it. With the support of internal customers and the broader Go-To-Market team, you will translate technical requirements into a project-driven approach for execution. This is a critical role in keeping our Go-To-Market operating smoothly and efficiently.
You will:Translate business requirements into technical specificationsParticipate in team code reviews, user acceptance testing and maintain excellent documentation of all workDevelop APEX and Visualforce solutions utilizing Salesforce.com best practicesAdvocate for performance and quality improvements across the sales tech stackCollaborate and communicate with technical resources across the companyTriage and remediate bugs as they are presentedEvaluate and deploy Salesforce applications
You have:5+ years experience as a Salesforce.com Developer, Business Systems Engineer, or Backend Engineer roleReceived or pursuing the Salesforce.com Platform Developer 1 certificationExperience with the Software Development Life Cycle, Source Control, and Salesforce.com coding best practicesExperience with CPQ in a SaaS-based product companyUnderstanding of the Salesforce.com data model and how to effectively extract, transform and load dataExperience owning and driving a project from concept to production, including proposal, discussion, and executionSelf-motivation and self-managment, with strong organizational skillsDemonstrated ability to work collaboratively and across teamsAbility to thrive working with remote teams
