We are looking for an outstanding leader to run our Global Competitive Intelligence team. This management role is responsible for designing, developing and owning competitive strategies for our Workforce and Customer Identity Products, as well as future threats across solutions and verticals. The goal is to ensure that our product marketing, product management, sales, and enablement teams have the coaching, training, tools, and programs to compete effectively.
Your team will be responsible for both strategic and tactical leadership; driving horizontal consistency across a tiered competitive strategy and implementing that strategy for Okta to reach our growth and revenue goals. In this senior management role, you will be expected to think and advise peer Okta leaders and, at times, the Okta executive team. Programs include competitive enablement, new and global scalable competitive programs, compelling sales tools, internal/external competitive research, technical breakdowns, win/loss analysis, live, in the field, deal support, and campaigns. It is important that you’re confident creating and writing content, playbooks, whitepapers, one-pagers, presentations, and video. There is a core product marketing skillset to be successful in this role.
Having presence, strong communication skills, and the ability to create compelling messaging is key to educating stakeholders on competitive offerings. Equally important is for your team be recognized as a trusted advisor, with the technical and industry expertise for our leadership team to tap into.
