Technical Support Live Specialist (AU & New Zealand)

We are looking for freelance contractors who are experts in community support and have great customer service experience with enthusiastic attitudes! We currently have one open opportunity for a uniquely qualified freelancer to provide services to our remote support team for Vimeo, a leading online video platform. Duties to fill include providing ticket support through Zendesk to assist customers that use the Vimeo platform.

What you’d be doing for support:

  • Answering tech support and customer service questions via email and chat.
  • Identifying recurring customer issues, helping to solve them, and escalating them to others for review.
  • Staying up-to-date about the latest bugs, feature launches, and policy changes through reading emails from Vimeo’s HQ team.
  • Suggesting customer response templates and online help documentation.
  • Having virtual coffee with us.
  • What we’re looking for:

  • Amazing written English communication skills
  • Live streaming experience. You don’t need to be the next, biggest video game or blog streamer but you must have some streaming and encoder experience
  • Internet savvy
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to recognize patterns
  • Comfortable following detailed workflows
  • Great people skills and a desire to learn new things
  • Able to handle multitasking in multiple windows and programs
  • Serious candidates only - this is a long-term position
  • Located in Australia and New Zealand (However, we are specifically staffing for AEST so Sydney and surrounding area preferred)
  • Shift days & time: Monday -Friday, 8:00AM - 5:00PM AEST
  • Bonus Qualifications:

  • You’ve got a leg up if you have customer service experience (and two legs up for online support or community experience)
  • Experience in / passion for film and video is a plus
