The VP of People is a dynamic role, at times you will play the role of manager, thought leader, sometimes coach, and on occasion mediator, with the goal of nurturing and growing our global team. We need a people executive who has scaled an organization and is interested in bringing people best practices to Netlify. You are a strategic thought leader in People Operations, Talent Management, and Recruiting.
As our VP of People you will work cross functionally across the entire organization promoting a people philosophy that entails modeling a progressive workplace, implementing flexible policies that align with our values, and optimizes how our teams work together. You will play a key role in being a team advocate, mentor, and coach. As a member of the executive team you will contribute to broad company decisions, and drive how those decisions are communicated. You’ll report to and collaborate very closely with the co-founders & executive team with all aspects that impact our team members here at Netlify. This role will lead a team of 5, a well established people operations function as well as a tenured recruiting team.
